WOW - someone wants me to build a website!
So I show my website with an old friend and tell him I am learning Word Press & stuff
The convo goes a bit like...
Her is the site I have built ....shows him my link
Thats cool, I have my own business one...and shows me his link
I ask who's done it
My mate - but i have an idea for another one
Why doesn't he do it?
He is not reliable enough
Cool...
Can you do me one?
Errr...(this is the leap of faith moment)...yeah I can - as well as get all keywords/SOE/Google stuff integrated in to it.
Great - do it for me. I will E-Mail you the things I would like, you design it etc I will pay you for your time to build a "dummy" site. (30 second site builder here I come...lol)
So I get to use the stuff I have learned in WA to achieve this - not expecting anything like this at all. So another reason for actually joining WA is to enhance another potential revenue stream...web design (and potentially web hosting costs)....to a 3rd party

Very true...there are a lot of skill sets to learn from WA that can be used in a number of different ways
The more resource streams it lets you have then you are utilizing the time investment to the maximum
It wont detract form the main goal of setting up a revenue stream that will grow with time. But as one of our leading UK supermarket slogans says.......
every little helps!
:)
Ha, brilliant. Strangely enough, I had the exactly the same scenario with a friend of mine today who asked me to build her a website for her gardening business. I swerved the question, but perhaps I'll give her a call.....!! Well done :)
Thanks - was a bit taken back & like "Can I do this?"
But hey we have the knowledge so why not
