The Dumbest Person at WA
Must be ME!!!!
Three days I have been trying to get Adsense on to my site.
I have placed the code in various areas, moved and deleted them.
Installed and activated the Site Kit plug-in as recommended by Google Adsense.
In the plug in it says it's activated, but when I click on the adsense icon it tells me its not and that I must be Offline - which I'm clearly not.
Can anyone help a dumb, not code savvy fool please,
My sincere apologies to the WA member featured in this picture but it is the only head scratching one I could find that fits with me right now.

You might try a different plug-in. Go to add new at the plug-in section and then ask for code or text into the header in the quarrie bar of the plug-ins. I hope that makes sense. Hi

I used Ad Inserter Plugin and it worked a treat, there's also excellent documentation which helps massively as it takes you through step by step.
