Pintrest Helpe!
This could be long or it could be short.
I have been strugling to get going on Pintrest - following Jay's training this month.
The situation is I had an account which was very inactive.
I thought I opened a business account - and did but can't seem to do anythig with it.
I have now delelted all the accounts in an effort to start from scratch but when I go to Pintrest I am met with "Welcome back Lawrence"
Please could someone point me where to get this stuff right?
And yes I am aware of Jay's training - but that is where this mess started because he set it up properly to start and I didn't.
While waiting for the help to arrive I may as well read my book.

Pinterest is great but I have trouble sorting it out myself. I think just start, post and share and things will develop.
It sounds like you maybe using the same email address....if you have a business started, create a new email which could be pinterest@yourwebsite.com, open a business Pinterest account with it and use your business name.....hope it helps you out my friend.
trouble is every time I= even enter Pintrest.com in the address bar it says "Hello lawrence - you can't fool us" Grrrr
Hello. What you did to your account? Close account or deactivate? There's an option in your account setting in account changes 3 option. "convert to business", Deactivate and close account. which one did you choose?
If you diactivated your account and you want to use Pinterest again, simply log in. You have to be able to log in to the email associated with your Pinterest account to reactivate your account. If you don't have access to your email, create a new account instead.
Its the new account I seem incapable of creating.
My preference would be to keep the old account and have a business account within that.
But do you think I can do that? Oh no not thsi stupid old .......
Yes you can do that, Mine is also old and inactive and I just change it into business after watching Jay's training. Log in to your old account , click edit setting then left side click account setting then click convert to business account. Did you do that?

I'm wondering if you're using the same email you used for your original account...that might be why it's showing up with the Welcome back message.
I'd try using a new email address if that's what you're trying to do is start all over with a brand new account...an email can only be linked to one Pinterest account at a time according to their Help answers.
Here's what it says there:
"Each email address can only be linked to one Pinterest account at a time.
If the account you're logging into with your email address isn't the one you want to access, try logging out and logging in with any other email addresses that you own.
You can get a hint to the email address on your account by going to pinterest.com/password/reset and searching for your name or username."
