Additional problem I should have mentioned: I originally set up the email as a mail forward, but I deleted that and set it up as an email address outright. However, all emails sent to the email I set up instead go to the address I was originally forwarding it to.

First you need to check if your SiteEmail is receiving the emails. This video is for setting up Outlook but the principles would be the same for your Mac.
