I have updated the 2 plugins advices in lesson 1, are
After looking at the Wordpress site there are a ton of them
Should I add more if so which one? Do I need to purchas
As others have mentioned. Don't worry about installing any other plugins at this point unless the training suggests it. Once you learn more and have more experience you can see if any additional plugins are beneficial at that point.
Hi Colleen, You just follow the lesson advice. Do not get distracted by other information. When you have finished all the training you will understand more about the plugins. *kiliwia62* has given a great answer for you. All the best!
Don't add too many plugins because it can slow down your website load quite a bit.
However, there might be in the future some plugins you want to add when you progressing with your website.
Plugins are always a bit personal too depending what you want or need for your site.
For now, I would suggest not to be too concerned and proceed with the training here at WA.
Most of the WA members, myself included, don't pay for plugins only using those who are Free. Some of them also do offer a Premium version which has more features.
I hope this has helped you?
Sylvia

Use whatever is right for your website, however, do not use unnecessary plugins as it does slow you down. IF it's something you NEED then use it but if it's not I wouldn't use it.
