Creating a Domain Email not Working for People
Just wanted to say that for some reason since Friday 04/03/2015 I have seen about 8 people thus far come into chat and say that they have not been able to create an email for their domain under the https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/email
Every time I try it works just fine for me but I cannot remember so many people having problems with it in the past and I have started seeing it pop up in the comments as well.
In case you are having this problem make sure that you are trying to create an email on a domain that you own. Siterubix sites are not able to have emails created for them (though if you want a contact I always suggest just making a gmail or free email account with your site name if you want a separate place for your site until/when you move it to your own domain)
There should be a drop down box that has all of the domains that are eligible to have an email created. Now normally you would be able to select your domain, put in what you want at the front of it such as your name or support etc. @ YOUR DOMAIN and hit create.
For whatever reason some people can hit the drop down and it shows their domains but then these domains cannot be selected and they just stay grayed out.
I have just been telling people to open a support ticket which you can do here
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
Now I assume that this has been working for people as I have not seen the same people come back in saying anything. But just wanted to let people know that you are not the only one having problem and if anyone has heard why this happening or if it has been a reoccuring problem please let me know. I cant think of a reason why it would be a problem as all my domains can be selected and I don't think there was any other criteria as long as it appears as an option in the drop down box.
Also if you had this problem can you comment below and let me know what support told you and if they were able to assist ya.
Keep meaning to ask Kyle or Carson but my timing in chat is pretty horrendous. By the way if someone else sees them please ask for me! thankie
So just wanted to let you that if you are having problems you are not the only.

I just tried to create my email and it didn't work so I submitted a help ticket through the link above.
They have been on the ball so hopefully someone gets back to you soon. I think they have just been creating them for people until they get the problem corrected
Hopefully they have a fix for it soon, but considering how many are still having the issue looks like they are still working on it. I included a link to support in my post and according to SassyLady they were able to help her out really quick and ZL123 also had theirs created by support. So if you want to have one sooner than later support is def the way to go at this point in time =)
Yeah I just know carson said they were trying to fix the problem. until then go ahead and open a support ticket if you would like to get one created sooner than later and hopefully they get it taken care of. =)
Yeah, it's not working for me either. I'm using Google Chrome, and I have purchased my own domain. On the drop-down list, I see my domain, but when I try to click it, however, it just won't get selected. I'll see if I can try another browser.
EDIT: No, it doesn't work on Internet Explorer for me either. (Hadn't bothered to download Firefox on this computer.)
Go ahead and put in a support ticket so that they can get it working for you. I use google chrome and it works but i haven't bothered trying my other browsers. Carson said that they are now aware of the issue but going through support will not only get your stuff fixed but will also help them pinpoint what seems to be causing the problem. Hopefully they get it taken care of sooner than later he said they were working on it.
Got a response from Carson:

@autumn56 We've had some reports of this and it seems that there is an issue and we're looking into it. We've got enough information about this from folks so that we can try and reproduce the issue and find out which specific browser is causing the problem. This will be fixed asap. We rolled out a big update to our website email service last week and this browser compatibility issue on creating a new email has affected a few people.
Thanks Autumn. I saw a post by Carson elsewhere and was just coming here to let you know when I saw your update.
I just added an email address using FireFox and had no problem with it. ~Jude
It could be because they have improved the system by adding the SMTP settings to integrate with other email clients. This should make it easier but maybe these people were trying to create emails while this improvement work was being done in the background. ~Jude
well ive been seeing them from friday till today, ive seen three people ask the question in comments and two came into chat today. so it seems to still be happening and i have terrible timing with the big boys to ask
Oh, I see. I just looked now and saw the SMTP but I must admit I have not looked there in a few days so I don't know how long since it has been added.
I've also noticed they've been moving sites to new servers.
You've done the right thing in suggesting a support ticket.
If I can catch K or C in chat, I'll refer him to your post!
