Whats the most unique, craziest niche site you've run across?
I can not believe that 2019 is almost over and we are about to enter into a new decade.
Crazy how time flies.
As time is flying I hope all of you here in the WA community are healthy, happy, wiser, and ready for 2020!
As I'm putting together my content for the next 3 months I thought it would be fun to find the most unique, crazy, out of the box niche sites that are making money.
To help others that may not think their idea or passions could make money I'd like to show them that their idea, passion, or dream could become a reality for them in 2020.
A couple of the sites I found were...
1. Armor for chicken (yes, literally there is a site that sells armor for chickens)
2. Pothole Store, their mission statement: To provide the highest quality 100% Authentic Chicago pothole products at the lowest prices
3. The Million Dollar Home Page - The website of Alex Tew, a 21-year-old entrepreneur, who hopes to pay his way through university by selling 1 million pixels of internet ad space for $1 each
These are just 3 sites out of the BILLIONS of sites online.
So I'd love to hear from you!
What are some niche sites you've run across, or you've built yourself, that are unique, out of the box thinking that you think others would find interesting too? Let's keep it PG-13 ;) lol
Let me know in the comments below!
Be Blessed,
Audrey

Thanks Jeff! I just know when you're just starting out and you're thinking if your expertise or passion could really make you money, I want people to see that, YES you can and here are some crazy, fun sites that are doing it.
Plus, I'm really curious because I love to see how others take their ideas and turn them into money-making machines.
Be Blessed,
Audrey
It can sure translate to ideas we can all use in our own sites, Audrey! Brilliant of you to do that!
Jeff
I think one of my favorite niche sites I built was over a decade ago. It was http://www.babymonkeysforadoption.com.
The site looks pretty different from when I started it. I sold it about a year later for $900. It was making between $60-80 a month using adsense.
Oh my gosh Eric, I would have never thought about that. Do you have monkey's or did you just love them and knew a lot about them? I'm always curious to know the story behind the website. lol
Be Blessed,
Audrey
I wish I had a good story about it but the truth is I was doing keyword research to find a niche and typed adoption. I was just as surprised as you were that there was decent search volume so
I looked and discovered the domain was available and there was no competition and started a site with 6 pages of content.
It ranked within days back then and I started making money. I was #1 in Google, Yahoo, and Bing for the target keyword.
I didn't have any clear vision for it and looking back, there were so many ways to brand this into an authority type website but I was focused on micro-niches so I sold it on Flippa.
I think the story is great Eric! Funny how years pass in this business and you can look back knowing what you could have done with that site. I am sure you will have plenty more sites in the near future that you will be able to brand and be that authority site. Who knows, there might still be a huge niche for that monkey business. It appears whoever bought it hasn't done much with it. ;)
