Atlantis Underwater?
Another Niche Idea
Ok, so I started reading a book about a teenage environmental activist and I was like, I could do that. I'd probably adjust my pen name slash blogger name. But I'd do it for water (apparently the girl is half wood nymph and half human so she was trying to save her mother & aunts home tree from being killed) because that's what I'm closer to. I love my water, I literally used to swim in a mermaid tail for fun & I loved it! Anyways, I'm sitting down thinking (cause that's what good stories do) and I'm like, I can do that too. It's totally possible for me to help my planet's waters! Last year in Physics 1 class, we had to learn about earth & what not, so we watched a documentary film just released that year called Ice on Fire, and the whole class learned that scientists were considering starting "kelp farms" because kelp is the plant that changes the most carbon dioxide to oxygen to help with pollution issues. So, if I could help lessen the problems of pollution and make some money, why wouldn't I? It's something that I enjoy learning about, it's something I care about, and it's something I'd enjoy a whole lot. Only thing is, I bought a domain that was too specific for such a purpose... I'm open to suggestions if you have any, but I'm sure I'll figure out how to do it no matter what.

Atlantis, I just read your blog and I think it is pretty cool.
What would be the one thing that you would be focusing on?
Well, I'd promote water health... I'd focus first on informing how water pollution effects everything, then I'd explain the call to action. It's something I'm passionate about, and I love researching it. And I love my waters.
Also, wow you really are following my progress lol. And also... good luck PUSHing through & LOVEing life.
Could you see yourself writing about these in 5 years time?
Yes, Atlantis I am following your progress🙂
I believe so. I know I really enjoyed learning about environmental issues, especially about the water. I can see myself doing this for awhile, I think.
Would it be ok for you to write 2-3 articles consistently for your website weekly?
I remembered learning this from last year, I remember loving it. I love swimming in the ocean, so I think I can push myself better in a ocean environmental activist type niche than I could in a mystic/witchcraft niche, which is very broad. Oceanolgy makes a better niche for me for sure though I think.
I still believe even though that is an awesome niche, ocean environment activist is still very broad. Is it possible for you to narrow it down a bit more?
I believe so.
School clubs are open now so I could join a club about oceanolgy to help me learn more material freely and accurately. I love writing anyways.
Hmm. Specific specific...
1. Ocean Information
a. Effects on the planet
b. Those effects on humanity
c. How you can help
Is that better?
I do understand that you still have to do your research when writing your articles for your website, the thing that I want you to think about before you start is who will be your target audience?
Who will you be writing your articles to? It need to be for a specific set of people.
Ahhh, I see.
My target audience is... hmm. I need to go look at the target audience questions from the training, I'll be back!
Who will be your target audience?
Do you remember the questions that Kyle stated that you should ask yourself when choosing a niche?
Ok

Atlantis, check this one out instead Choosing Your Direction - It Starts With a Niche
I believe I understand what your question is: who are the people you're writing for? What do they want, why do they want answers, what are they looking for, etc. Does that sum it up? I think you're asking me to describe the people I'm getting into such a niche for, but correct me if I'm wrong.
People out there searching for information, for solutions, that's my audience.
These people are people who want to learn about the ocean, either for school or because of curiosity... that means students who have money, probably ages 15 through about 30.
The niche is also for people who want to help change the world, or support changing it for the better. So, maybe people who want to donate money to a reasonable cause or to a business that has a reasonable cause... maybe they want to donate all their tax money to choosen causes rather than whatever their government puts those taxes towards. That'd be middle class men through upper class men, probably in the USA, Canada, United Kingdom, or elsewhere that I'm unaware of who'd be interested in such content.
Does that better define my target audience? (For some reason I think of Niche as a subject rather than group of people... woopsies.)
No so much as describing them Atlantis, but creating your articles from their user experience. What do they want help with? What information will you be providing them with , that they need
Do your research Atlantis, so that you will know the type of articles that you need to write so that your customers will benefit
That target audience is too broad for you to start with
Can you please read the two things that I sent you again? This will give you a better idea of what you want to write about.
I just found this
This will definitely help you How to find your passionate niche topic and narrow down broad niches. Have a look at it. Reply when you are finished and we will talk again
Hmmm. Is that where the Jaxy research comes in? I want to help people understand how kelp effects the entire planet. I want people to understand the consequences of how healthy our oceans are. I want to help students find information for their science research. I want my readers to have a in-depth understanding of our oceans and our relationship with our oceans.
Atlantis, please see my last file I gave you.
Here it is again How to find your passionate niche topic and narrow down broad niches.
Ok, I think I understand much better thank you.
(Red or yellow) Oceanolgy-->
(yellow) Oceans' effects on humanity -->
(Green?) How you can positively effect our planet through our oceans (by buying these products?)
Awesome. I will talk to you tomorrow. Now that you understand, do your research now for your articles. I'm happy that you now understand
Wow, thank you... especially for your patience, lol. Good night/evening/whatever time it is. 🙃
