Building a community with social media. 1.

Today was my first day to promote my site on social media. I trust my facebook friends, over 3000 as of today. That may change when they see what I have created. Some people don't want anything to do with a fanatic.

I posted:

Here's the link to an opportunity to take a praise break:
https://christians.comeonwithit.com/forums/topic/praise-break-april-3-2017/

So, the reason I am posting this here is to see if anyone has experience with creating a community and might be able to weigh in on my mistakes as I go. I want to provide a place for people to be on the internet where they can openly talk about their faith and make plans for being a blessing in the actual physical community. The site is possibly hyperlocal in the fact that I want to use it to create the foundation and structure of a faith-based drug and alcohol treatment center and transitional living center. People could still support it from a distance if they appreciated the function.

I will also be signing up with Commission Junction or Share-a-Sale to host DaySpring products on the site. DaySpring is a leading 'Christian products' supplier.

If anyone has any experience they would like to share with CJ or Share-a-sale, I would love that information as well.

Thanks,
Alan

I don't have any knowledge of the above sites, but I don't think I have seen very many sites that you can share your faith with and not be criticized. I hope your site makes a long journey on the internet.

True said. The difference here is that we are using the sites to produce a curriculum, faith-based, Word-centered, for a local drug and alcohol rehabilitation center with transitional living for inmates getting out of jail as well. A lot of times, faith needs to be criticized because it's a bunch of words. We are attempting to turn our words into works that will help the community. No one can really criticize action unless they want to look stupid. I could use a good laugh too, right? Thanks for the well wish, and God bless. I am so grateful for WA. I couldn't have made it this far in such a short time. I had the plan, but didn't want to spend a lot of money for nothing. WA is definitely not that.
