Today was my first day to promote my site on social media. I trust my facebook friends, over 3000 as of today. That may change when they see what I have created. Some people don't want anything to do with a fanatic.
I posted:
Here's the link to an opportunity to take a praise break:

So, the reason I am posting this here is to see if anyone has experience with creating a community and might be able to weigh in on my mistakes as I go. I want to provide a place for people to be on the internet where they can openly talk about their faith and make plans for being a blessing in the actual physical community. The site is possibly hyperlocal in the fact that I want to use it to create the foundation and structure of a faith-based drug and alcohol treatment center and transitional living center. People could still support it from a distance if they appreciated the function.
I will also be signing up with Commission Junction or Share-a-Sale to host DaySpring products on the site. DaySpring is a leading 'Christian products' supplier.
If anyone has any experience they would like to share with CJ or Share-a-sale, I would love that information as well.
Thanks,
Alan
