Growth Hacking is the New Term of Marketing
Hello Friends and Followers, Hello Friends and Followers, how you doing today? Do you know about growth hacking? Let me tell you about that.
Growth hacking is a marketing technique developed by technology startups which use creativity, analytical thinking, and social metrics to sell products and gain exposure. Growth hackers focus on low-cost and innovative alternatives to traditional marketing, utilizing social media and viral marketing instead of buying advertising through more traditional media. Growth hacking is particularly important for startups, as it allows for a “lean” launch that focuses on “growth first, budgets second.” – Wikipedia (Growth Hacking)
Growth Hacking includes not just marketing, but also everything else that drives traffic, retention, or word of mouth on a website – or simply just growth. On the other hand, Marketing is more about getting the word out, promoting a brand through different ways (content, advertisements, events, etc.). I think Growth Hacking is inclusive of marketing, and it is everything that a business needs to do to grow. Currently the term is using quite a lot because in this time of 2016, it takes much more than marketing to grow. Most successful companies like, Facebook, PayPal, AirBnB etc. have gotten their users and customers through everything but marketing. So, it is a better term to use so that you don’t get stuck in the box of marketing.
For example, traditionally, people use emails to send marketing emails, but now the time of 2016 most growth hackers are using emails as a bridge for a user who is offline to get them online again using Growth Hacking tricks.
