Where to?
It has now been over a month since I tottered onto Wealthy Affiliates. During this time I have completed some training, created a website for my partner's physical business through WA, and tasted some success there. When you experience something good, of course you you desire some more.
At this point, I now however find myself stumbling. This brought me to me to the obvious question: Why am I fumbling? In this blog-post, I am trying to answer the catharsis question in order to move on.
Most of my productive-life I have spent working for one company or another, wondering why I did not feel like the owner of my life-scenario, situtation etc. Talk about conditioning-matrix! When I worked for someone else, the company's purpose became my own.
Now, as I stand holding this WA-opportunity, I realize the feeling of purposelessness is the main obstacle I am facing. I don't know where I want to go with WA. The apparent realization is: Without defining what my purpose is, without understanding where the destination is, how can I get there? With WA, the external validation or supervision is not there.
WA provides you the tools required to create your own success and it provides you a rough roadmap. But I still must decide the destination I wish to arrive at, right? You can take a horse down to the lake, but if it doesn't want to drink, what do ya do, right?
So, the next goal for me: Define where I want to go with WA.

It is always hard when you wake up from the matrix and even worse when you half wake up! Or you wake up but have to stayed plugged in. It is frightening to take that step away from being employed in a job. When you do that you know that if you get up, go to work, work for 7 hours, you will get paid a sum of money on a set day.
It is all nice and secure and safe! However when you step out there is no routine, no time to be at work, no boss, no safety of rules and expectation. The contract is blank.
I agreed you do have to have a very good idea of where you are heading, what your ‘why’ is, in order to succeed here. You don’t need to know the how, but you need a strong desire to find out the ‘how’ Yourself.
I came here to seek freedom, to be my own boss to live the laptop lifestyle, but that comes with unlimited hours of work for potentially no money, But my desire, my destination and my why are whole and solid!
Not sure if this helps but all I can advise is to find your find your destination, then your why. For some they need the security of a boss, of a routine of certainty. This path isn’t for the faint hearted!
Arjun, I would suggest picking your niche so you can build that initial business. As you are building it, you will get more insights into what else you might like to pursue.
There are no limits here with affiliate marketing and as you build your income you can spread your wings in any direction you like.
