How to analyze with ClickBank Tutorial w pictures
Hi everyone! In this tutorial. I will teach you how to analyze with clickbank. Clickbank is a great place to start out because it has digital products and it pays high commission. Commission can go up to 75% which is pretty amazing.
If you don't know how to get to ClickBank Analytics. I will provide a tutorial. Lets get started.
Step 1:) Login to clickbank: Go to http://clickbank.com and login with your username and password. If you don't have an account, click the sign up button and put your information.

Step 2:) Click on the reporting tab, this will show your paycheck statement.

Step 3:) Click on the Analytics tab, this will lead you to a chart and information about your products you are promoting.

You did it. You made it to ClickBank Analytics. Now on to part 2.
---------------------------------------------------------
Part 2: How to analyze with clickbank.
The Hop Count represents how many people clicked on your affiliate link. This will lead them to the sales page.

The table below represents your products you are promoting in detail. I highlighted the most important.

Earnings Per Hop: Represents how much you made through your affiliate link.
Hops Per Order: Represents how many sales you made.
Order Form Impression Count: Represents how many people were at the order page.
Order Form Conversion Count: Represents a percentage of how many sales were made out of the people who clicked your affiliate link.
So a simple formula: Hops Per Order / Hop Count = Sales Conversion.
I would like to thank you for reading my tutorial on how to analyze with clickbank.
Cheers!!

I'm getting hundreds of hops daily on my clickbank account that can't possibly be happening. They're for TID's on posts that aren't indexed and only published on Pinterest. Both Pinterest and Google Analytics show no such traffic. Clickbank says they can't help. Any ideas? Debra
Hey Debra,
Do you have any type of "linking" plugin installed, such as Link Whisper?
I've used Clickbank for about 15 years now, and although payment is always on time and correct I have noticed over the years that often the hops don't correspond to what other applications are telling me, e.g. Analytics, email software, etc.
However, something that I did notice a few years ago is that once I installed Link Whisper (I use it mainly to find internal link opportunities once a website gets to a few hundred articles), when you perform a link scan it literally goes through all the links on your website.
And I was surprised to see my hop count in the 1000s for that website (when it was usually only about 150-200 hops per day).
But, as I say, even before this I always noticed that the hop count never seemed to correspond with other software, although the only time I saw "ridiculous" levels of hops was when I used Link Whisper.
I also note that you say the "article isn't indexed yet", I'd also check your rankings on Bing. This may not explain a huge amount of hops, but it may explain some if you're indexed and ranked on Bing too.

Hi Partha,
Thanks so much for the quick reply. When I said not indexed, I mean I mark them No Index. They're not for SEO, just for creating content for Pinterest.
I use Pretty Links. But I've used that for years without a problem.
I probably should just not waste time on this since you've had this happen as well. I wish we could get accurate data from Clickbank, but as long as they're tracking the sales correctly, that's what's important.
Thanks again.
Debra
Hmmmm... it's a difficult one.
But yes, you're right, probably best to move on.
I will say that I've never had an issue with payments, or even using specific tracking IDs, it's just always the hops that cause a slight issues.
Funnily enough, I was just checking a completely separate email campaign this morning. According to email stats, I've had 228 clicks on the links yesterday, when checking Clickbank it says 58 hops, LOL!!
So, now it appears it goes the other way too!!
However, sales are always tracked correctly.
The only other thing you can do (although a bit of a hassle) is to create a new hoplink (you'll usually find when you click on "promote" to create a hoplink it will be a different one from yesterday, obviously it's still allocated to your "Clickbank nickname", but the actual url will be slightly different).
If it's not too much hassle to replace the links in your article, you could do that.
But overall, don't worry about it. Clickbank is great for payment, some of the other things have clear room for improvement.
