Slight niche change!
I decided that my niche is too broad and I am not expert enough to give really good insight. Instead of all books. I have decided to direct my site toward more sci-fi books. That way I will be able to more manage-ably and accurately relate and compare books. I kind of had the idea a few weeks ago when I bought my domain to be areadersvoyage.com So its like a voyage through space and time.
I am working on getting a panorama of the night sky for my main header pic. I also have a list of books I'm reading and content lined up of books I have already read. I'm really excited. This new focus will really help my business I believe because I will be able to have more authority. Not just reading books that I generally like but books from all eras of sci fi. This way I will be able to help more sci-fi lovers than just ones that like my usual type.

That sounds like a very wise decision. Your passion for sci-fi will show through in your reviews, so readers will know and trust your recommendations.
That's great if you detect in early stages whats not good for you, hope you do better in with the new nich. I also did take a broader niche: "Smart Technologies" I think I am gonna give it a try.

Any suggestions of books to read next or authors that you like?
The last one that me and both of my kids love and have read several times is called:
Black/Red/White (the circle trilogy) by Ted Dekker
It has an underlying religious theme but it is about two parallel universes or connected alternate realities or something like like that.
All three of us have read the books at least twice if not more than three times.

Somewhere I've read,recently, this idea of being too broad has resulted in the website being stalled and lacking focus.
Still in question is what function does the website perform ?... Is the point in yours to reference different Sci-fi books, in review of them, so that I as an enthusiast can make informed choices?
That is specific enough but I like the idea of rating your choices and making available reviews of upcoming authors, their short stories etc...In short, I like a broad view of a specific idea...this may be worth 2 cents of consideration.

Thats what I am fixing. Before I was trying to review all books/ book related things. Like Young adult, fantasy, sci-fi, horror. This would make my reviews very scattered and me not much of an authority. My site relates books that are most like each other so people can look up a book they liked and find one that is similar. So if you type in Ender's game, reviews of other relevant books will come up.
Yes. Great idea. I was just reading about the 10 components that make up a great website and one of them was how you described the Ender's Game function I think you got something there... always give your audience a call to action.
