Not Where I'd Hoped to Be

Ok,, so I got excited was getting some traffic made a buck and some change, and now nothing.  I'm still showing respectable spots in the serps, but here's where I think my weakness is.  I HATE writing articles. I honestly think I would enjoy having my nails pulled with pliers while having Justin Bieber piped in a maximum volume a lot more. Spinning has thus far not worked too good for me.

So what's my next step?  I'm going to try outsourcing.  I'm pretty broke at the moment so this is a little bit scary for me but I don't think I'm going to make any headway without it.

My ad copy, quite frankly, sucks. LOL If it didn't, I'm thinking that I would be making a lot more sales. It's just a little difficult finding an emotional trigger for me. But, c'est la vie.

Onward and hopefully upward.

I hear ya.

Outsourcing can be good...if you find someone who you give constant work for you can find some great deals and demand lower rates. I say demand because they usually give in if you tell them that you can simply find someone else. Don't be too greedy though!

My problem when it comes to article writing is that I hate the idea of coming up with new content...you don't really need to (in the beginning at least.) Find some well written articles, be it PLR or from an article directory and paraphrase it in your own words. It doesn't have to be perfect...or even long. People like to read short stuff. Just try and add your own spin on it and it'll be a smash.

Writing your own copy is obviously the cheapest and easiest way to start, but if you're not getting anywhere, hire a few freelancers -- they are often very reasonable price-wise.

I would really advise you to check out the links on EzineWriter and PotPieGirl's profile; They give free ebooks about article writing, it'll seem easier after reading their guidelines! Good luck! :)

There are many talented and experienced writers within the WA family worldwide. Another good resource for outsourcing is www.oDesk.com
