How Accurate is Jaaxy?
Good morning/evening/night WA friends!
I was currently looking to find a bunch of keywords for future articles and since they had all low statistics (low searches but good QSR), I thought "why not check for a keyword that I'm already ranking for and see what Jaaxy gives vs my actual results".
So I made the comparison since it is possible for me to do it now. At the beginning, it's hard to do without any visits.
So Jaaxy gives me:
Avg 86
Traffic 16
QSR 25
SEO 94
Which means it would be a pretty good keyword (that's the reason I used it a couple of months ago).
Now, GSC tells me that I have approximately 4,876 clicks in one month for this review (not just for this keyword!). So, my question was "how accurate is Jaaxy?"
Then, I thought "but hey, these clicks come from many different keywords, not only the one you chose from Jaaxy!"
So I went back in GSC and look deeper to have only the exact keyword I had chosen at the beginning and decided to check the stats for January.
GSC gives me for this exact same keyword:
Clicks 2
Impressions 50
CTR 4%
Position 1.1
Which is not 4,876 clicks, right?
At this precise moment I understood [something I knew but so deep inside me I wasn't thinking about it], that the keyword you choose to write your article is important, but keep in mind that you will rank for many other related keywords. That's what happened with my review. Now, it's ranking for 250+ different keywords and I have around 3000+ new visitors every month just because of this review.
So guys, keep working hard because all your hard work will be reward sooner or later! Keywords are really important to rank and Jaaxy is there to help you. Once you ranked for this simple keyword, many others will follow! Jaaxy is a guideline!
Let me know what you think 🤗

You understood this well. Great job and great success. Though it is surprising that the targetted keyword performed so badly. Try to figure out why this is so. It can be that Google is not showing your title and meta description. Perhaps modify your meta title and meta description. See what those ranked close to you have in these meta parameters.
Yeah, I asked myself the same question. It's weird that it performed badly like this.
Actually, if I go back in time where my post started to bring in traffic, the keyword that was working well had exactly the words from my chosen keyword but with 2 words missing (so with bad spelling).
Then, one month later it's the name of the company that worked the best (so without the interrogation if it's a scam or legit for example).
I don't know what happened and how to explain it. 🤷♀️
This about missing words, perhaps this is about stopwords that are ignored by search engines in any case. So it can be that your targetted keyword was working as expected. Cannot say more without seeing the keyword. But who cares, the post is doing great. Write more, wish you success, and stay safe.
