I have around four months experience with Javascript programming and a few years with HTML and CSS. Mainly, my hobbies are football, linguistics, music, and video games.
I have a niche idea that has driven me with excitement, and from a lot of research I can see it'll be a big trend for years to come; except I'm not so knowledgeable with the subject; although I am more than willing to learn!
When it comes to keyword searching, I've noticed there are not huge amounts of traffic in this area but the competition is low. The niche suddenly became trendy, apparently.
What are your skills or hobbies that you have a vast knowledge about? List a few and I can help you..go to keyword first and find what is getting lots of traffic?
The most important thing is content! Make sure you're picking a niche you can write about. I can write about my niche for years to come- constantly updating articles or adding new product reviews. Don't get so caught on the name as google will use all the words from your page to index it. Hope this helps :)
In a years time or in three months you can always purchase a new domain name if you would like to go in a different direction. Or possibly even create a a sub-domain of the original one
