This is still happening some members are still stating the $19 dollar discount for the first month.
Get you act together and fix your posts or your campaign messages to your referrals and while you are at it how about responding to the question they are asking you.
There is no $19 first month offer anymore that was taken away ages ago so stop advertising this.
You are not only doing a disservice to Wealthy Affiliate but also giving false information to your referrals, Why? For the sake of a commission?
Think about it in the eyes of a starter members you are no better than a scammer just after their money.
That is not what Wealthy Affiliate is about.
Wealthy Affiliate is about helping not scamming people with false or outdated information.
Giving false and outdated information just gives more fuel to the competition to do more negative reviews on WA.
You are helping them make us look bad.
I am not going to mention names and I don’t’ care if you are a premium, premium plus or even a super affiliate fix it now and also start responding to your referrals.
I have seen question asked by starters and no response have been given back to them for days.

Thank you for sharing and for saying what needed to be said. I agree with you and there are way too many outdated WA reviews online. I have seen many fake, negative and outdated reviews about WA.
I recently typed in Wealthy Affiliate Review into Google and most of the results I got on page 1 had either untrue and negative statements about WA, outdated information or a combination of both. There were some really good ones but also many bad ones.
I recently wrote my own WA review on my main business website. It's over 10,000 words and it's very honest and up to date. I will make sure to keep it very honest and up to date in the future to. Unfortunately there are too many people that will say anything for money or for a commission and they don't care if they are deceiving people.
One of the main reasons I started my main online business is because of all the lies and bad information out there in my niche and I wanted to help combat it and tell the real truth. The word would be a much better place if everyone was honest like you and I. I hope you don't mind me sharing my thoughts.

Thanks Timothy and yes there are some competitors who come here and either joined for the month not to learn but to gather information which ends being twisted or untrue and some of them still have outdated information like some members here.

You're welcome and thank you for your reply. I agree with and you are right. I recently saw a WA review where a guy joined WA as a starter member and tested the platform for 40 hours.
Then he wrote a negative WA review making ridiculous and untrue claims about WA like you won't get traffic to your Site Rubix website because the hosting is bad and the training is outdated among other untrue claims.
Some people are so greedy they just want money and will stop at nothing to get it. I will keep up my honesty and it's great to have honest and amazing people like you on my side. Plus I love it when they say members are forced to promote WA then go around bashing other programs to promote WA.
What happens then when you read on and what do they do? Bash WA and promote their chosen programs they are an affiliate for. Talk about being hypocritical.
Or that state WA is MLM or a Pyramid scheme
They will do anything to get their bits to gain a commission on one of their programs and it is not just WA but other programes out there where they do the same.

Yes you are spot on and the guy that wrote the review that I mentioned did exactly what you described and so have many others I have seen. He claimed you are forced to promote WA and that it's a pyramid scheme.
Later on he had not 1 but 3 personal recommendations that he says were better than WA. I checked them and they were all affiliate links and he was promoting all 3 of them. One of them Legendary Marketer but I can't remember the other 2 he was promoting.
All in all he was full of nonsense and there so many other reviews like that one. Thank you again for saying what needed to be said and for bringing this matter to the attention of the WA community.

I haven’t seen anyone asking about $19 first month in ages.
But should that happen, it’s a possibility the new member asking that question is coming back from having had some familiarly with the platform and they’re asking if that’s still a thing. Also, it’s possible for a new member to arrive via an affiliate link from a member who is no longer active, so the info is simply outdated.
Either way, the community is right here to welcome them and Kyle and Carson do a great job explaining the entire process of how WA works in the welcome video and initial training.
Hi Eric, I responded to Andre a couple of days ago, to say that so far, I have sent PMs to 27 people, all of whom have mentioned the $19 in their welcome message.
All of them are currently active.
And we do get a lot of questions about this in Live Chat, so unfortunately, it is more prevalent than you might realise!
Info should obviously be updated, it’s good for your business and for everyone involved. No doubt. 💯
But when it isn’t, WA does do a good job explaining everything with clarity. There’s a ton of people who arrive at WA with the “what do I do?” question even though everything points them to the training. So I don’t think we’ll ever eliminate those questions, but if anything they arrive maybe with outdated info to find a much better deal with freebies that didn’t used to exist before, so for me I just don’t really worry about it.
But you’re right, I can’t remember the last time I saw the question asked.

However, this is still happening and the starter member that sparked this post reminder only joined on the 10th of July their mentor has their campaign message stating they can get the $19 discount.
The starter has a few times asked their mentor about where they can get their discount and all you see is the regular automated message with no actual response to them.
So it is happening still along with being asked in chat as Diane and a few others have noticed
This mentor is not new, they as far as I can remember are or were one of the super affiliates which makes it look worse.
I just checked the starters account and still no real reply back to them apart from the automated message one even asked how can i help you further.
So it seems they just leave it to give automated messages but don't bother coming back in real-time to help their new referrals I know you are not that type but some are.
Regardless of where they came from to join the automated message is still an issue that needs to be updated by that particular mentor amongst others who still do the same
Fortunately, it is only a few but I still see on some websites the old discount offer is showing and worst of all the automated message here have not been changed.
I really wouldn’t worry about it too much brother. People can run (or neglect) their online business in any number of ways.
If someone arrives thinking they still get a first month’s discount, well, that’s quickly resolved by all the info here.
We can only control what we can control, right? So maintain that focus on you and your business and on helping others like you always have.
Just like when people arrive and ask “where do I start?”, everything here points new members in the right direction. And this huge community is always here to help :)

Some of those old reviews are still out there. I wonder why some have not updated it. Thanks for reminding them.
