Celebrating 11 Years with Wealthy Affiliate

Well it is now 11 years of being here within Wealthy Affiliate.

To think when I first thought of working online I got scammed so many time I was about to give up and not have any hope of wanting to earn online as people would state.

There were scams after scams, promises of the usual earn a $100 a day using this or that method.

Or how to earn $1000 per week with this easy done for you system, simply with just the click of a button.

The list of fake promises just went on and on.

Well like many others out there and I know there are a few here who fell for such methods and fake promises.

As I said I was going to give up trying then I saw a post about Wealthy Affiliate and being able to join for free.

Well the join for free perked up my thoughts and said to myself. Well at least this is for free to try out so I had nothing to lose this time. I was still sceptical at the time but wanted to give this one last go.

If this was going to be a scam or fake like the other ones then I will give up totally and never trust these folks online.

Wealthy Affiliate saved me

So I gave it a go and really looked into this Wealthy Affiliate.

At the time they had the older OEC training which I felt was great and as I delved into it plus some extra research this time to make sure I was taking a sceptical look just to make sure.

Took the upgrade

Two days later I decided to upgrade to premium and been here for the last 11 years as a result.

I decided to upgrade and have been a proud member since and intend to stay another 11 years or more with Wealthy Affiliate.

So goes to show keep trying as you never know that extra step could be the best opportunity you will even get and I am not sorry I joined.

Kyle and Carson are great mentors, teachers and just good blokes.

I have met many great members here, some of whom have gone one way or another, some are still here in the background and many newcomers I have had the pleasure to connect with here over the years.

This community is the best I have even experience I am with some other community groups online now but they are nothing like Wealthy Affiliate in fact nowhere near it.

So 11 years later I am enjoying the peace, the ability to work in my own time and do what I want to do without listening to a boss for their needs.

I stopped working full time back in 2020 and never looked back.

Advice to newbies here.

This is for both starters and those recently started.

· When you first join do the core training one lesson at a time and if in doubt ask your fellow members.

· During this time actually look around the platform and see what each section does this is at the top menu or on the side dashboard. Get yourself familiar with what the platform has to offer you.

· Don’t rush and skip lessons complete each task given. I made this mistake when I first came in and it took me six months of lost time because of having that get rich mindset and felt this lesson is not for me. In the end I had to start all over again and get it right the second time.

· Don’t just rush and think about making money, yes I know that is most likely the reason you came here. But soon you will learn that helping people (readers) coming to your site is the proper way to do things

· Take that get rich part out of your mind and in fact don’t think about making money at all. Just focus on building that foundation for your website and create useful content that helps your readers for what that are looking for.

· Once you start to gain a regular following to your site then start to think about affiliate links. If you have no visitors you have no one to click the links to take whatever offer you are giving.

· When you start to gain traction and build up a following on your site the money will naturally happen which is a bonus for the contribution to give to your readers.

· If you are asking a question it would be nice and courtise to reply back to whoever is helping you with your question. I have seen many times especially in chat someone asks a question and you never here from them again. At least say thank you and don’t’ be rude and igore someone giving their personal time to help you out.

· One final point! Don’t be lazy and expect things to just fall in your lap but do the work, put in the effort and be better than what you were in the past.

There is more but this is just the start to get you going and start thinking the right way

Why I am saying this?

If you just take time to look around and experiment you will quickly learn your way around.

This is something I still see here is that members although we know questions are great to ask, take time to look around yourself first, and know where or what to click you will find answers there.

Some people are too lazy to look themselves as these days, people just want quick answers but are unwilling to do some added research even if it means spending an hour or so looking around.

Many of the lazy ones will end up giving up.

Remember you are here to build an online, one that is for the long-term. This requires effort, patience and having a positive attitude and mindset.

Over the years

Much may have changed over the years with the platform and what Wealthy Affiliate gives.

.Yet one thing that hasn’t changed is the help and support you get from not only Kyle and Carson but also the amazing community of like-minded members only to willing to help.

You have all the tools, resources and training you need, more so when you upgrade.

Wealthy Affiliate is always evolving as the online world changes but they stay updated in many areas including the training, changes needed to some tools Jaxxy for example and more.

Use the skills and knowledge others can give you.

This is all included with your membership. There are people worldwide here with all levels of skills, knowledge and expertise.

Now we have the latest updates to the platform with the hubs along with the AI-Platform to help you further plus the many other benefits included in the hubs.

To me, this has been the greatest achievement WA has given and I know there is more to come not just for this year but in coming years to come.

Final thoughts

So I suggest any newbies actually, anyone who may be struggling a bit to continue to follow and apply what is given in the training.

Go through the various live training classes along with reading other blogs from fellow members as well.

Become more positive in your way of thinking, keep on creating content for your readers and not focus just on money instead focus on helping instead first and foremost.

The money will come later as a benefit.fo your great work.
