May I ask why you want to put it in your sidebar? Do you intend for everyone to see it all the time?
Good point.. I don't want everyone to see it all the time. But I intend to keep it on the sidebar on Homepage but not on the main menu. Is there any way we can do that?
Most people choose to put their "About Us" as a link in the footer. That way it is always accessible but not in the way. It doesn't have to be in the main menu bar.

That's pretty valuable real estate on your website to waste with a perpetual "About Me" there, unless you place it way down on the page, below literally everything else. And if you are placing it that low, why bother?
You got me Jane.. But I placed it in the footer for now. I wanted it to appear about me in the top right corner(Sidebar) of my Homepage but just on the Homepage. I'll figure that out sometimes later.
