Character Does It Matter?
Character Does It Matter?
Hard work spotlight the character of people, some turn up their sleeves, some turn up their noses and some don't turn up at all.
Every day people search online for ways to change their lives. They read blogs about ' how to make more money, how to find their dream job, how to become a better writer, etc.
Although learning is a part of success, but one forgotten truth that matter to your success is character. You can acquire all learning and money in the world, but if you're not becoming better in who you are becoming, then you fail in many areas of your life.
True success is spending time building your character. Spend time becoming a better father, mother, husband, wife and a better leader in your business. So, your character does matter, it says a lot about you.
What does your character say about you?

Your character is the condition of who you are and it will determine your actions and reactions.
Our character is all about who we really are deep down inside. Whether in public or in private, what we do and how we act represents our true character.

Well said, Anthony. To me character is important. I can't imagine how my character would be if I had a lot of success in my business. I'm the type to person that appreciates the better things in life because I feels that I deserve it. I've working very hard for a really long time and I feel under appreciated. Someday I would love to wake up and ask myself "do I have to work today? Then I'll be like by the way I don't have to work today or tomorrow or forever. Lol.
A Japanese saying is, that any "successful" person, manager, /CEO etc do work only 4 hours a day, sometimes even less, the rest is meditation.
I can live with that. :)
This is great Anthony thank you for sharing! I completely agree with you our character says a lot about the kind of person we are. My character shows that I am a hard working, strong woman who enjoys helping others.
Well said Anthony. I totally agree. And I think that in today's society, we have become a world where individual character doesn't seem to be as important to people as it used to be, unfortunately. I suppose all we can do is be the best people we can be ourselves and set a good example for others. I try to walk in a path similar to the one Jesus walked and do my best to be a good, giving, caring, generous person. One of the mottoes I try to live by is "Be kind to one another". In fact, I recently bought a little bracelet by a young man who really has started a movement with myintent.org. He makes these little inexpensive bracelets with a metal ring on them, just on a piece of string really, with a "word" that you give him. I chose "Kindness" as my word. I wear this every day and it helps me remember to try to do at least on act of random kindness every day. Have a great day!
