My First Blog Post drum roll please!

Blogging? Me? Blog? nononono...I mean what do I have to say that anyone would want to read? I imagine many people have that same thought. Well, let's get down to it shall we?

My progress has been slow. Due to a nearly full time job, children, and homeschool. it can be difficult to squeeze in time to "work for yourself". But we all know the saying "slow and steady"... so it has been a success in that regards!

I've built a website. After a bit of soul searching and agonizing back and forth I made a decision on my niche. It's a rather neglected area to be sure and I pray that I'm guided to continue posting useful information.

Yup its a mouthful but it fulfils my need to give advice on costumes and locate supplies while addressing an underserved niche.

Taking the leap to become a premium member is a success in my mind. I'm lucky to have a job that will pay for this investment, because that's truly what it is.

My goals for the next 3 months is to be blogging consistently several days a week, and eventually building a second website. While building upon those small successes I'm hoping to be making a real income within 6 months that will be paying for my premium membership....baby steps are necessary...don't rush and don't give up!
