2 whole Recipes up on my website!
My site Annika's Kitchen is starting to look like an actual website. If you have an interest in food feel free to stop by. It's just the beginning yet - but I feel proud that I have an actual website created around my passion. Only something I've been thinking about for years!!
But thanks to Nathaniell, Kyle (love all the videos) and all you other wonderful and helpful Wealthy Affiliates I have finally made progress in the dream of following my passion.
Thanks all!
Annika
Founder of Annika's Kitchen (had to add that I'm a founder of anything!)

It's a wonderful beginning! And I just love smoothies! I have bookmarked your website for my own self. Well done, oh clever founder! :)
Way to go Annika! Keep up the awesomeness :)
Your website: I would suggest you categorize your recipes (they look delicious btw) according to menu options. ie. Put your bread recipe under the 'Bread' page and Smoothie recipe under 'Juicing and Smoothies'. As of now when I go to your website, they are both on the homepage blogroll, but as soon as I click a page from the menu, there's nothing there.
You can edit this by adding to a 'parent page' (and choose the one you want) on the right side of the actual post page in your admin section. Let me know if this is clear... (That however I think will just give your page a drop down menu - not sure if you want this. See if your theme will allow you to have more than one blogroll and maybe do a blogroll per page...)
Thanks Stephanie! Again. That is the plan - to log the recipes under the various categories (not sure if I'm sticking with those categories). Haven't gone through all the training yet - so I'm hoping what you are referring to will be covered. Or I shall ask you for help : )
Yup, that sounds perfect - just follow through the training and you'll get all the info you need!
Looks great! I think this is a great niche and could be very successful.
One tip from a pro photographer, use a clean glass and pour that smoothie in the glass but keep the glass clean. Also use the best quality photos because that's going to do a lot of your selling for you.
Thanks for the comment. I have a lot to learn about the photography still. The goal is to have high quality photos - something I would like to look at myself.
Excellent photos! Now, you need to add a way for people like me who love to cook and save recipes, there needs to be a Pin it button! One of my recipes has been repinned over 1000 times! That's extra blog traffic.
Great ideas Anita. I do need a Pin it Button - I've meant to ask the question in the community - How do I get the Pin It Button, and other social media share buttons??
There are a lot of plugins, they recommend one here but I can't remember what its called. I use Shareaholic and I like it so I have kept it as is.
Thanks! Then you are my target audience. Well - I just want everyone (including you) to feel that they actually can do it. Without too much fuss, and without all sorts of equipment etc.
