The importance of social media
I know you guys have probably heard this many times before, but I just wanted to show you one more time how much you can benefit from linking your blog posts to social media sites.
Although it seems quite usless sharing your posts on social media (at least that's how it seemed to me at the beginning), once you get more likes and followers, it can get much more serious.

This was my most successful social site when it comes to getting an audience, and by this I mean followers. However, the downside is that I didn't manage to get much people click on the site, they just like it or retweeted it but didn't visit it.
I guess this was probably because most of my followers weren't really people, but rather companies and other blogs. At least that's my explanation why they usually didn't click to much on the link.
But anyway, for me Twitter remains the easiest place to get followers, so I definitely recommend it. Probably it needs a bit more time to get more "interested" followers, but it's definitely worth it.

For me, Facebook was probably the easiest place to get visitors on my site.
However, things aren't that simple. I got some likes on my blog's page, even some likes at several posts, but it's the same like Twitter, people don't click on the link, they just like it.
The biggest success with Facebook I had was when I posted in several groups, interested in my niche. There were many clicking on my link and checking it out, so this was a lot of traffic.
But this can be pretty tiresome, and at one point, people start knowing you and what you share in that group, and they no longer click on the links. That's what I noticed.
I didn't manage to get any sales from Facebook traffic, but that traffic I got was enough to be satisfied with it.
Pintrest

Fortunately, now I'm a bit more comfortable with Pintrest and I'm slowly getting more followers, which are regular people not companies, and that it really good. :D
Of all media sites, this is probably the one I use less because I prefer to focus on Facebook and Twitter, I like them better and it seems a bit easier. Though for a site that has a lot of pictures and graphics, Pintrest should really be a "must have".
Google+

That was probably the social media site that I knew absolutely nothing about, and it was really hard to get followers here. Probably because I don't have many acquaintances that use Google+, so I had to start from 0.
I confess that if it wasn't Google's social media, I would have probably never created a profile, it sometimes seems to me that I'm working so hard with Google+ in vain. But anyway, it matters for Google rankings (at least that's why I heard), so I did my best.
I try to share my links here as often as I can, and my rankings are pretty good for my latest site, so I guess the benefits are visible.
So what you should do?
Well, I really advise you to create a profile on each of these 3, but I think it's easier with a public, rather than a personal one. Like, try to name it after your blog's name instead of your own name, though the last one can also work great. Maybe it's about how it's best for each of us, and only you can realize this.
In my case it worked better with my blog's name, maybe in your will be different, but it's worth trying both.
It may take a while till you get enough followers and likes, but believe me, it's really worth it posting on social media often, you'll see the benefits one day. :)
