How about a little positivity?

That sounds nice, right? My last post was everything but that. But since that eventfully awful 3 day stint of hating everything (damn you depression), I've come back up to the surface to breathe a little fresh air.

I have not been on WA for awhile. I got a little behind in homework and caught up in the mess I've put myself in but I'm back. At least for now, until another meltdown comes my way. Which seems to be inevitable since the passing of my mom. So, remember early on when you all first joined and started the lessons and what not and you're reading and reading and at on point you are asked to write down short term goals, eventually leading up to a year from now? Well, that's my starting point. Even if I have to start all over again from goal number one.

My goals weren't very exciting. They were mostly based around me losing weight (I gained a whopping 15lbs since last year, since I'm short it's a little obvious. My boyfriend tells me I look great but my clothes say otherwise!) Get A's in all my classes at school, get my driver license, think about buying a car, cut out all fast food (I hardly eat it but when I do, I can't get enough sometimes leading me on a two day horrible eating binge), write more, learn more, actually get somewhere with WA, make new friends, etc.

So my goals are pretty much all squished up into the "bettering myself" category, which I am all for! I used to be very active before my mom died, running about 6 miles everyday. I ate very healthy, and it isn't like I don't eat healthy now....my biggest issue is I love to snack! Anyway, I was in good shape, I weighed about 110-115 and I was a perfect size 2. Now (and this is BRAVE for me right now!) I am about 126 and a size 4. None of my clothes fit! I have resorted to wearing my "fat" jeans and ill fitting tops, leggings and hoodies. (And please, that "fat" comment is not meant in any way, shape, or form to insult anyone, I am VERY, very, very, very hard on myself 99% of the time so don't be offended. I am just being honest about how I feel about myself.) And I'm not happy about it! You see, back in 2008 I weighed 140lbs. With hard work and clean eating I got down to 102 but I was too small and I didn't like it so as I was saying, I was at about 112 normally.

Wow, not sure how this turned into a blog about my weight but I'm going to roll with it guys!

So that's my goal. It might not seem like much to you, but my love handles are starting to form their own country back there, as well as my thighs! A part of me feels like putting this all out here will help keep me on track, so here goes nothing!

I've got a treadmill I need to put to good use, I eat healthy as it is just no more snacking! That will be the death of me. No more "white" foods (I promise it works!!! I lost nearly 40lbs by cutting out all white foods, dairy and eating a LOT of boneless skinless chicken breast, veggies, and lots of water! I was running everyday and doing mostly HIIT workouts, sometimes running twice a day.)

So there is my rant, let's hope I can do this.

Anyone have any similar goals in mind? Maybe we can help each other! When I was at my ideal weight, all of my friends used to come to me for workout/weight loss advice and I want to be that person again.

LOL. I read my title and thought how much I really got off topic. I wanted to say that things are looking up at the moment, hoping they stay that way. I've got a few things that may or may not happen and let's just say if they do, I will be one happy lady!

Good, keep running with your goal in mind and focus on your target.

IF you really want to lose some weight you will need to want to lose that access weight more then anything else in this world!

No diet is going to make you lose weight without suffering with it!....

Think Positive! Think Slim! Think Eat Healthy!

Definitely eat NO FAT!

Good Luck!... . This was a great blog!

Unfortunately, I am aware of this lol! Thank you though, it is greatly appreciated. Luckily I know what I need to do to get myself back where I was and I know how to go about it, I just lack motivation at times! I'm well on my way to being where I should be though, just need to work a little bit harder. :-)

Keep your head up and keep focused. Obstacles make us stronger. Good luck

Thanks! I've become aware of that years ago lol!

Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. I hope you pull your life together. It is difficult to lose a parent. I wish you the best.

Hey thanks! I've been doing pretty well for the most part, but it's easy to stray off course and feel lost from time to time!

Everyone gets a little off track, we've all be there. Sometimes it's good to take a step back before moving forward you want to be in a good place mentally before tackling all of this stuff. Something to consider in your current situation is creating a win-win-win.

You come off as a genuine person, you can easily start a site based on the story you outlined above. Start a blog about 'white foods', your journey back to your weight goal, workout/weight loss advice, and even things about your online business. People love it when you get personal and the audience for this kind of stuff weight loss/make money is HUGE.

Win 1: doing this may keep you on track towards your goals.
Win 2: you will be helping others who are in a similar situation.
Win 3: you monetize this right, you make money.

Just throwing it out there as something to consider, I think you would do great. Best of luck with everything...

You might have just been the one to help me there! Thanks man! Really appreciate this comment more than you know! I look forward to keeping in touch, thank you again!!!!!
