My first week here, I'm seeing the bigger picture!

Hi everyone, I thought it was time that made an official introduction. I took advantage of the Black Friday sale last week and have been keeping busy poking around and seeing what is really here. So far, I am pretty impressed!

So how did I get here? I certainly didn't start out wanting to be an affiliate marketer or even knowing what on earth that was!

I started out by creating a blog site to support my business. A year ago I was running a fitness and adventure camp for plus size women. I needed a website/blog to as a place to write motivating articles, post recipes, etc Then I figured out I could sell fitness gear from Amazon to those people who could not attend my bootcamps. And so the plus size fitness market became my first niche.

But I had a devastating injury that I am still not recovered from and after awhile I lost that business as a result. But I still have the website and even though I rarely write an article, it gets 80 or so organic visits a day, so I have kept it and I need to figure out how to monetize it better.

Since then I have set up a few more sites. I make a sale on at least one of my sites almost every day. However, since the week or so that I have been here, I can already see some ways to make improvements. I can see that if you really niche it down you have a greater chance of getting traffic to your site. I'm seeing a much bigger picture here that I wasn't quite seeing before.

So I am pretty excited for 2014 and I have a couple of new sites that I am planning out. I think next year is going to be a great year for me!
