Zayden: Group 01.
Zavian: Group 01
Alina: Group 01
Azaan: Group 02
Inaya: Group 02
Rayyan: Group 02.
Scene: AI Marketing Group Discussion.
Location: Ravenscroft University School of Business, Technology & Innovation.
Subject: AI Marketing and Foresight- Seminar 204.
The university classroom was unusually quiet.
Not because students were paying perfect attention.
They were studying AI Marketing and Foresight, after all. Someone was definitely multitasking.
At the front of the room, the tutor turned towards the class.
"Alright. Two groups. I want your predictions."
The students looked at each other.
Group One: Zayden, Zavian and Alina.

The tutor pointed toward them first.
"Where do you think AI marketing is heading?"
Zavian leaned forward:
"I think AI will make content creation faster, but brands will have to work harder to stand out."
Alina nodded:
"Especially because everyone has access to similar AI tools now. If everyone can produce content quickly, speed isn't really the advantage anymore."
Zayden added:
"The advantage becomes what you actually do with it."
The tutor smiled.
"Meaning?"
The group answered all together: "Strategy. Brand voice. Original ideas. Knowing your audience."
The tutor nodded and wrote one word on the board:
DIFFERENTIATION.
Group Two: Azaan, Inaya and Rayyan.

Now it was their turn.
"Your prediction?"
Inaya answered first:

"I think AI search and AI assistants are going to change how people discover businesses."
Azaan continued:
"People might not always visit ten different websites to research something. They could ask an AI system to compare options or recommend something."
Rayyan added:
"Which means marketers won't just be thinking about ranking on search engines. They'll have to think about whether their brand and content can actually be understood by AI systems."
The tutor wrote another word on the board:
DISCOVERABILITY.
Now there were two words staring back at the class:
Differentiation & Discoverability.
And both groups had made an important point.
AI Marketing Isn't Just About Using AI.
This where I think AI marketing gets misunderstood.
It can be tempting to think AI marketing means using AI tools to create content faster.
Write the blog.
Generate the social post.
Create the email.
Move on.
But AI marketing is becoming much bigger than that.
It's about understanding how technology is changing the way people discover, consume and respond to marketing.
And that's where foresight comes in.
What Happens Next?
We don't know exactly what marketing will look like in 2028.
Anyone claiming they know precisely is probably selling you something.
But we can watch the direction things are moving.
We're already seeing changes in:
- AI assisted content creation.
- AI search and discovery.
- Automated workflows.
- Personalised marketing.
- AI-powered customer experiences.
- Content recommendation.
- Digital advertising.
- How people research products and services.
The smart move isn't necessarily to predict the future perfectly.
It's to prepare for multiple possibilities.
Back to The Classroom.
The tutor looks at both groups:
"So which group is right?"
Silence.
Zavian shrugged: "Both?"
The tutor smiled - "Exactly."
AI marketing isn't one single trend.
It's a collection of changes happening at the same time.
One group is thinking about how brands will stand out.
The other is thinking about how brands will get discovered.
Both matter.
Because what good is being discoverable if nobody remembers you?
And what good is having brilliant brand if nobody can find you?
My Take.
I think marketers who do well in the next few years won't necessarily be the ones using the most AI.
They'll be the ones who understand when to use it, why to use it, and when human judgement needs to take over.
AI can speed up the work.
It can open new possibilities.
It can even change marketing itself works.
But the strategy still has to come from somewhere.
And that means marketers need to stop asking only:
"What can AI do?"
and start asking:
"What will this change?"
That's where AI marketing meets foresight.
And honestly, that's a much more interesting question.
