After 10 Years in Wealthy Affiliate, These 4 Lessons Changed Everything

I logged in to Wealthy Affiliate today. My intention was to publish an article on my site.

Unfortunately, I realized WA is down, then I saw this question on my Wealthy Affiliate profile.

Since I can't log in to my site temporarly, the question above inspired me to write a blog here about my 10 years experience here in Wealthy Affiliate.

I came here to Wealthy Affiliate as a total newbie with no experience.

But thanks to Wealthy Affiliate training and community, I was able to:

• Buy 4 Properties in Morocco (All giving me recurring passive income)
• Bought my dream car
• Traveled & lived in so many countries, (the country where I lived the longest is Hungary (Budapest specifically) for 5 years!)
• Got married and about to travel the world with my wife, starting from September
• I was doubting whether I could make 1k USD a month, but I had one day when I made 60k USD (in one day) because I generated a 1 million-dollar sale from my site! (in a high-ticket affiliate niche)
• Brought over 2 million dollars in sales for the high-ticket affiliate company I was promoting.

I’m not sharing this to brag. I’m sharing it because I remember being the guy who wondered if even $1,000/month online was realistic.

The thing is, ANYONE can make money like I did if they figure out how to stay consistent with hard work, because as I said, I came with no experience to Wealthy Affiliate.

In this post I just want to share with you 4 things I learned in my 10 years journey with Wealthy Affiliate.

#1 You Are Leaving Money on the Table if you...

You know that saying, you are leaving money on the table?

If you are not working hard because you get distracted by shiny new things or for whatever reason you are simply leaving money on the table.

The only way to your dreams is by working hard consistently, if you don't do that you are literally leaving money on the table for someone else who figured out.

But you should not just work hard.

#2 Work Hard but Smart

The worst thing ever, is to work hard then later you have nothing to show for it.

I used to make this mistake in my early days with WA

I would focus on multiple projects, I would be growing very slowly on those projects and I would burn out.

I learned the hard way that I need to focus only on one project, work on it long enough until it brings results, and then I am allowed to start a new project.

#3 Analyze & research your niche well before launching

I think this is the worst mistake one can make.

If you choose the wrong niche that has high competition and low profit margins, you could work so hard with little to show for it.

That's why you need to deeply analyze the competition, especially around the high intent keywords (the keywords that will actually make you money, not the what is x type of keywords)

Then you want to make sure that you can profitably monetize your niche.

I personally prefer high-ticket affiliate niches because a single sale can literally change your life.

#4 Don't follow the crowd, find your own angle

I noticed that everybody is just launching websites on random low-profit niches.

What I realized is that the top marketers would find a unique angle and niche where the competition is so weak that Google has no relevant pages to serve.

That's where you come in, and that's how you can rank fast without needing backlinks.

For example I recently started a website in English but it's related to Morocco, it's so specific, it's about foreigners coming to Morocco to invest in certain areas.

The competition is weak; it's hard to monetize because you need to be local, but it's worth it.

I shared that just to give you an idea.

I actually offer consultations on how to find a rare profitable niche's to my clients and there are a lot of underserved topics, but those would always be outside the US but still profitable.

Final Words

You don't need to be a genius, you just need to be focused, disciplined mentally and physically enough to stick around your chosen project (you will make lots of mistakes, but it sucks how our society calls them so. They are literally the best lessons you can have)

It helps a lot to get rid of social media and any artificially overstimulating habits; they are among the worst things that deeply affect your discipline and results, at least that was my case.
