Shine a candle tonight at 8.30pm (UK)
It's INTERNATIONAL Nurses day, so can post on behalf of everybody here at Wealthy Affiliates.
We all know what a sterling job the services profession have always done, her in the UK we are very proud of out National Health Service , which has performed 'adequately over the past 10 years' , given the austerity cuts forced on the current Tory Government, the mass of immigration the UK has seen from all over the World (China especially) and indeed the World refugee program , plus the ageing population of the UK.
How apt it is, therefore , that we and our nurses on the 200th anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, and for the nurses that have followed in her inspirational footsteps to be remembered at this time. PLEASE Shine a light in your window, 8.30pm today, on #InternationalNursesDay, Thier dedication has been beyond the call of duty, with limited PPE to protect them, but they have delivered.
So, please let's applaud not just the Nurses, but the whole of the public services around the World for their efforts - Without you..........

We are trying to save their lives too
By respecting the rules
Social distance
No interraction with others
Washing hands
Coughing in elbows
And bringing down infection rates
@fleeky think the time is to relieve things in UK, we're not silly (well most that is) - people need to get back to normality (Whatever that will be from now on!) - most can't afford this to go on longer.
Yes... hard for all of us... if nothing is done 5 to 17% of population can die... because of lack of medical assitance in the first place
Only way to control contamination is flattening the curve, testing, isolation, precautions...
Our medical staffs are tired and overworked...
fear a second wave that will be harder and keep distance and precautions...
And also wonder what we are doing, running after?
Seeing your statistics, your situation is still unstable, be careful...
We are lucky to have temporary loans and help and a great social network FOR ALL
Will definitely shine a light this evening.
A Welshman proud of the NHS and all the workers and volunteers getting us through this.
Andy.
@A1jonuk1 We ALL are so proud of our 'team' - let's hope they get the recognition their efforts have warranted - in their pay packets, when this is all over.
Far you guys are being hammered, the people who sacrifice on the front line are to be so commended for their selfless caring in such times.
Definitely shine that light.
Alex
