Shelter in place, or shelter in praise

I have just written a new post to my site

Yesterday we were ordered by our local authorities to shelter in place, along with countless other communities I'm sure. Now, this situation could last for weeks, months, or even years according to some pundits who believe this is an 18 month, or more thing, something like the Spanish Flu last century. I can see that at first it could be novel, not to have to go to work, but I am sure that after a few weeks people will be going stir crazy. My post is about what will we do in that time?

I find in life that it's not so much about the problems we face, but rather how we face those problems, you see it's all in the mind, and the mind is what we can have control over. I can't change the world, but I can change the world in me, by focusing on the positives rather than the negatives.

Just a word of encouragement to you WA family, in this time of virtual lock down, take some time to pray, draw closer to God, and if you don't yet know Him, may I suggest you introduce yourself now because you never know what's around the corner, and its far better to introduce yourself to Him, rather than He introduces Himself to you at your demise. If you are standing before Him for the first time at your death, it's too late. There will be no plea bargaining then, just judgment for what we've done with our life.

I know some of you will think I am a crackpot, that's OK, but I don't want to stand in front of God on that day and have Him say, why did you not tell them?

Lift your eyes and hearts to heaven and pray for yourself, your family and your nation. Find your safe refuge in Him.
