Auld Lang Syne

Should old acquaintance be forgot? depends on who it is I guess :-) There have been sometimes, rather than some people I would rather forget, and as the new year begins soon, I will look forward to taking a cup of kindness with all my new friends and acquaintances here on WA.

When I first started, or should I say second started (first time was years back and I quit too soon chasing after shiny objects) I was beginning to get overwhelmed again, chasing the elusive shiny object, and I was not looking forward to what I was doing as an everyday thing. I started a couple of sales sites and wrote about my niche subject, all the while not really enjoying it. I am a technician by trade and I know a fair amount about security cameras and systems, but somehow it was boring to me, I felt like I was not doing what I was passionate about

After a few months of feeling this way I decided to write about my passion, and that passion is Jesus, now I can write freely and copiously without feeling pressure to perform, as for making money, I don't care about that much now either. For the first time in my online life I feel I have a purpose now, and I think 2020 is going to be the best year I have ever had, I don't necessarily mean in a monetary sense, although God is quite able to perform that for me too if He wishes, but I mean in a writing sense. I have never much liked writing, and never felt confident about it, but somehow, now that I am writing what i feel led to write, the burden has shifted and I actually enjoy what I am writing now, and consequently I am writing more.

So, let's take a cup of kindness here for the sake of auld lang syne, which roughly translates to cheers to times gone by and ring out the old and bring in the new.

God bless you my WA family, may all your dreams and desires come true in the coming year, and remember, find out what your passion is and do that, all the rest is just fluff anyhow :-)
