Disappointed
I was felling disappointed and discouraged in my progress with WA.
My friend Dan suggested I look - backward - to the past - and appreciate how far I've come.
Dan calls this the reverse gap.
Dan explains it this way:
The moment I start felling disappointed or discouraged or I start feeling really tense, I immediately say, "Okay, what are you measuring against?" and sure enough, I'm measuring against the ideal. And the moment I say, "Okay, turn around, where did you come from?" And the moment I turn around and measure backwards (from) my starting point for this particular activity - bang, I feel great.... I've learned a lot. I go from the negative zone of being in the gap to the positive zone of measuring my actual progress.
MY ACTURAL PROGRESS
- I have my very own niche website
- I have optimized my website for SEO
- I have created content
- I have created 17 post on my website and 16 are ranked in Google
I created a foundation for a long term business
HAPPY
No Longer disappointed

Hi Andy,
Seems like you have a great friend in Dan.
Where is it you would like to be.
Are these things you have done
I have my very own niche website
I have optimized my website for SEO
I have created content
I have created 17 post on my website and 16 are ranked in Google
I created a foundation for a long term business
If so I do not understand your disappointment.
Best wishes,
Michael
It is always good to look at how far you have come rather than where you would like to be.
