Feeling Discouraged
Hello fellow Wealthy Affiliates
Today, I'm just feeling a little discouraged about my journey. I've been a member here for about 10 months, and I have enjoyed every minute. However today marked the day where 180 days was up for my Amazon Associates account and I'm yet to make a sale.
What made me more disappointed was that there was no communication from Amazon... at all. I just simply couldn't sign in to my associates account. I tried to contact them but I haven't received a response. So... I just signed up again.
Unfortunately, now I have to go through all my posts and update the links. Hmm, what a drag. It really has made me think seriously about whether:
1. Is Affiliate Marketing for me? and
2. Have a chosen a niche that is too competitive? As I have had no sales in 6 months since joining Amazon.
Organic traffic is very VERY slow. Still trickling in. Although this month has been my best so far.
On the flip side, I want to keep pushing forward. I know the rewards are there. I just need to be patient. Affiliate Marketing is for me. Working from home is my goal. Spending more quality time as a family is what I ultimately want. Plus, I've invested too much time and money that I don't just want to give it all away.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me to date.

I making sales on eCommerce but barely on Affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing and blogging will take time to build up, so that is why the more content you have the better.
Why not do a Facebook Ad campaign on capturing email list and offer them something of value ? In turn, you can attach your affiliate link to your email.
My recommendation is to always avoid amazon. People hate the site for MA. You'd be better off with OfferVault or ClickBank.
What is your niche? Sometimes it can take 6-12 months for the ball to really start rolling.

Sometimes we just need to hold on. A great book to read ( if you can squeeze some time in).. Is called 3 feet from gold. From Greg . Reid.
I read your last post about your Amazon sale and thought this might give you more insight.. Hope that helps..
