Is Blood On That Cheesecake?

Would you buy a product with a review like that? I'd certainly take a look to see what it was all about. That's the power that a blog can put at your finger tips!
But, if you were selling cheesecake, with or without the blood, how many could you sell using a blog review and WordPress? Some, obviosly, will say as many as you like and that's quite true. But I have a bit of a problem when it comes to shopping cart systems - I've seen proper ones and used them for sales. Then I've added WordPress via a cPanel system.
WooCommerce is P with an OO Commerce
WooCommerce is lovely, I bet it is really but I just can't see why anyone would seriously want to use it.
Not when there's free stuff out there that does the job properly with everything you'd ever want, including full sales control and promotion control and everything a shop would ever need.

It took yonks to set up what in comparison was a right old mess using P with an OO Commerce.
It took ten minutes to get a brilliant shopping cart up and running. It puts P with an OO Commerce to bed just like WA puts all the other sites to bed. Since this ain't no promo no links anywhere here allowed.
I know very well I'm being picky. I suppose I've been spoiled in the past. But it's got me wondering about something and maybe you kind folks out there in Cyberspace can help me.
WA doesn't permit cPanel so I'm wondering how many folk at WA have their shopping sites hosted elsewhere so they can get at them properly? I can't be the only one, I know that. I've asked on the boards, etc, and no-one knows how to install zen cart, a pretty standardised Open Source system. This is just one of the many out there.
So if you're using a shopping cart system off WA hosting, let me know, please. I'm very curious. Or if you have WooCommerce with over a hundred products let me know. I don't want to be completely unfair to P with an OO Commerce, do I?
But I'll tell you what I think of P with an OO Biz soon, if you like. It doesn't fair much better, I'm afraid.
Meanwhile, if that's blood on that cheesecake, I'll have a slice after all, please!
All the best, everyone in Cyberland.
