Stay On The Good Side Of All Google Animals
We have all gotten a bit fed up and confused about Google's do's and dont's over the past year and a half right, I know I have. I know this whole thing has made me think of Google as a spoilt, teething teenager; yes a teething teenager.
Anyway, I have just finished reading a short and informative post from Webpronews about how to "try" and stay on the good side of Google's animals. The information so say comes from Google themselves so I though this would be nice short low down for those allergic to industry talk.
There is also a link to Google's webmaster page for more information which is a good bookmark.
Here it is Webpronews

@slayton1s - Yeah, it's crazy. I've contatcted their host and all that. I'm hoping the SERPs are going to get shaken up a bit more and my site will come back. Either way, you're right - I've got to start thinking bigger than Google and a list seems to be where it's at.
Pretty much shows how Google's cracking down on people trying to abuse the system. As long as you don't abuse the system, you don't have much to worry about.
I think that's the idea, but for me, it hasn't worked out that way. Another website took the content off my site, copied it 100%, switched their own links, and placed it on a 1 page website (no posts). It is now ranking #1 for my KW, while my site has dropped to page 2. Maybe the update isn't finished, but Google seems to have accomplished the opposite of what it intended to do in my case. (this is a different example from the one I listed below). For me, that makes 2 cases where low quality websites are outranking high quality.
Wow, I'd like to see the site myself if I could. Something awry is going on there. Sorry to hear that. Some people just need to grow up. But it's like Kyle has said in the past with the update over BuildMyRank websites. Don't put all your eggs in Google's basket. I'm actually not even using Google for what I have in store for advertising Wealthy Affiliate with the new 10 day free trial going on. Instead, I have over 18,000 to start from at my own leisure.
Wow, I'd like to see the site. Something awry is going on there. It's like Kyle's always said with the recent Google update with BuildMyRank websites. Don't put all your eggs in Google's baskets. Use other resources and mediums. I'm actually not using Google for my immediate Wealthy Affiliate campaign and I have over 18,000 different people I can target at my own leisure along with tons more people.
Google seems to be confused - With the recent updates my new, high quality user friendly sites have been lost somewhere in Narnia, while all my synidicated "Buy Now" "Buy Now" blogs from back when I first started marketing are back from the grave. I think it's not so clear what Google is trying to accomplish with this one.
I personally haven't been hit by any of these animal attacks, but think this last penguin update made some mistakes.
Good read, thanks!
P.S. Maybe my secret to SERP success is the results of using and implementing many Google products in my business.. ;)
Yeah, I have read a few accounts of Google's contradictions riling experienced, established webmasters so it seems you know something they don't lol. I adopted that thought of stroking Google's ego too.

@Nathaniell. Im sorry to hear that..but it should rectify itself in time. That still often happens. Concerning that it seems the algo changes are not doing anything.
