The Word Press Puzzle
For those of us in WA just starting out and not knowing Word Press, hang on for the ride! I never wanted to learn Word Press and went out of my way to avoid it! But here it is staring me in the face and it’s time to bite the proverbial bullet. The saying goes, “Things that don’t kill you will make you stronger.” Well, I’m still alive and I’m about to publish my third post.
I just tried to replace a photo I have on my About Ana page and the photo insisted on being way to large. I cleared my search engine cache, which I did not know how to do when I first started this, thank you YouTube, and after several attempts including logging out of WA and back in and refreshing the page, I finally got the size reduced.
I’m certainly not saying this is the right way to go about this, but it was the only way I knew to figure it out.
In my mind, I will do what it takes to be successful at WA. There are YouTube videos on Word Press and I’ve watched a couple. They have been helpful, and Word Press has their own training videos which I’m sure are great, but I just need to know enough at this point to keep moving forward creating posts that help solve a problem.
I just wanted you to know, if you’re being challenged by Word Press, you’re not alone. It may be puzzling, but the success will be worth it.

It does take a while, but once you can learn the block editor, I feel like it makes it a bit simpler, of course things are changing all the time, Ana!

When starting anything new it will always be a little challenging to begin with Ana!
But.... the more we practice and learn, the easier things will inevitably become!
