Good morning!
I'm running to get ready for work but noticed that my ranking went from 48 to 51, and while I'm more concerned about developing my site rather than my ranking number, I feel like saying, "wait a minute!!" I've been working and have other obligations in the evening this week and have not been able to work too much on WA or my site. I am behind on my articles as well.
I keep saying that I will get up at 5:00 to start writing, but I don't sleep very well so when the alarm goes off, there's no way I am getting up.
I wish there were a way here to say HOLD OFF and don't change my ranking! I'm at work and will be right back! It's not because I'm not interested or otherwise neglecting my online responsibilities -- I'm just working and trying to figure it all out.
I feel bad I'm not under 50 anymore, (quite literally...!) but just wanted Kyle and Carson to know that my absence is just due to working full time and running around like crazy.

It sounds like you're doing your best.
I was away for a few weeks due to technical difficulties; in the interim, I started a 12-week computer class, Monday thru Thursday. So that has been keeping busy while I was away.
The result, I dropped to Top 200, now I'm in the Top 100. No worries...you'll get to Top 50 again, Amy probably when you least expect it.
Stay consistent with whatever time you're able to commit to growing your online business, everything else will fall into place.

I was a bit hesitant to even start the 12-week program, because that would be time away from my business. But I figured that this was an opportunity that I should not let pass me by - especially since it's all expenses paid - all $2200 worth, plus books!!! I believe that everything will fall into place at just the right time.
Hi Amy, I totally get what you’re saying. I have gone from top 100 all the way up to top 1000. I have had to start a job and the schedule is grueling. I’ve fallen behind in so much here at WA and definitely not because I don’t care. It’s just where I am right now.
As the others say, don’t sweat it - you’ll get back there before you know it.

Who has time for breakfast? It's just a cup of tea or coffee while working at the computer for me.. :)
It sucks. One of the few nice things when I traveled for work was I always ate breakfast. Even sweeter that the company was paying for it!

Yes, WA rankings will rise and fall! Sometimes we have time to spend helping out and other times we don't.
Remember, ranking here in WA does not make your website any affiliate income. If you are not working on your business but socializing here, something will suffer.
Yes, we want to help people here, but if you are really busy at work, when you have time focus on your online business, and when you have that taken care of then you can return here and help out.
Kyle and Carson know that and would never ask you to neglect your online business due to the need to be active in the community.
Do your best, that's all you can do! We don't want you burning out Amy.
Hi Howard and you raise some good points. The temptation for me has always been to be active in this community and then when I run out of time, my website suffers. Maybe it needs to be the other way around — website first, then community. Thank you...!
Yes, it does need to be the other way around. It is hard to pull ourselves away from WA though!!!!
