Tonight, I not only started work on my 3rd website, but I created for the new page a tab I entitled simple "My Education"

On this webpage, which I placed under the page I created about my personal history, I placed not only the names and certifications and degrees I have earned in my life, but I also placed scanned copies of the originals

We work hard, we study for our career path, and then we hide the fact that we ever went to college? I highly encourage those of us on here who have certifications or any specialized training to add a page that admits that. It does not have to be the first screen or main page, but let your viewers know that you actually did receive the tools necessary in order to help them succeed by hanging those documents on our webpage, as medical professionals and lawyers hang their degrees and licenses in their offices!

Having a state certification, or a degree or diploma should not be hidden! It is part of your proof that you are knowledgeable and trained in the subject matter, and can be a benefit to you! Are you aware that most HR departments will not only look at your family demographics, but also your education level and GPA when they are considering WHAT to pay you as you enter the work force?

I know that when I was working for a corporation, that I received a higher salary AFTER I completed my AAS in Accounting and I was told that I could earn more if I continued my education path. So, please do not be ashamed of your certifications or high school diploma or college degrees. It proves the path of mentorship you were given, as those degrees that we are hiding in our home for no one to see, if we post them and acknowledge with proof that we truly received this mentorship, then most likely we will have some doors open up that we did not even realize was possible.
