Installing a Visitor Counter on your personal Webpage (Personal Blog 10/26/22)
So, I do not know about you, but as someone who likes to know what is happening on my business pages, I wanted (and needed) a counter to be on my website....but how to do it? Well, after searching the internet, I have found a solution for you!
Create a widget in your footer that is a button.
Then edit the widget as a button
Then this following code will work for the counter:
<a href="https://www.freecounterstat.co...; title="website counter"><img src="https://counter4.stat.ovh/priv...; border="0" title="website counter" alt="website counter"></a>
Then edit the url on the system to your own url on the wordpress system.
If you do not like the format I have chosen, that is okay, this website https://www.freecounterstat.com/ has several to choose from with counter codes, but I found that ONLY the one without the javascript will work for premium memberships.
Good Luck!

That's interesting. I may end up using that if I fail getting Google analytics going. Thanks so much for sharing this with us.

Jason
