UPDATE: found it. You have to have a first and last name in Google Plus "about me" fields in order to get the claim your ID.
Thanks everyone.
Hey AnnaMarie...
Here is one of Eric's awesome trainings on that! I just love his easy teaching style! Internal Links vs External Links vs Backlinks Does this help?
Have a great day!!

Thanks. Unfortunately, this no longer applies because there is no longer an option for "Link"

I'm using a them by Kaira specifically Nikkon. I've tried to but in sidebar banner ads using "Widget - Text" or "Widget HTML" and neither show up on my sidebar, the text tile
Hey Annamarie,
Think I can guess your problem ... you have Adblocker addon installed on your browser. I recommend that you try viewing your website using a different browser.
If this turns out to be your issue, I'll let you in on a little secret ;-)) I did EXACTLY the same thing.
Are you certain that your script is in the TEXT tab and NOT the Visual tab?
There was a recent change to the Widgets in WordPress and this change (Text and Visual windows) has caught me off guard a few times now.
If so ... my next step would be to see if it is a plugin conflict (I see you have a popup) as sometimes plugins will clash and cancel out one or both. All you need to do is deactivate each plugin one at a time to see if you can then see the ad.
That being proven to NOT be the issue my next step would be to contact the support team of the creator of your theme.
Hope this helps you.
I will try deactivating plugins and see what happens.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
