3 month Anniversary
Just noticed on my profile that I have been here exactly 3 months today.
Although I have not accomplished tasks as quickly as I would have liked to, I am still proud of the successes I have accomplished.
I am currently on course 3 lesson 7. All I really have to do to complete this level is to create 3 more posts. Unfortunately 1 post usually takes me at least a week to complete :(
I now have many affiliate links on my site. I have been approved for Adsense and I am just waiting for the ad to go live. I have signed up with Google Analytics and just yesterday Google Webmaster Tools. I am hoping these tools will be a great benefit once there is enough data collected and I learn how to use them.
No money has been made yet, but the framework is getting into place. It is only a matter of time.
Time (and motivation) have been my enemy. I work full-time and have 2 kids under 10 who use up most of my time and energy. Lately I have been finding the idea of reading a good book wins out over working on my site once they are in bed. I need to get more focused and I have started today by writing a "To-Do" list.
I have to thank all the wonderful people on WA! There are certain members here every day and reply to almost every question I post. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I would not be able to have made it this far without you!

It is difficult to find the time. I work a day job that does not always keep me busy enough. They don't mind if I am on the internet as long as my work is done. I do a lot of reading and lessons during this time. I can't watch videos or do to much that is heavy duty-like placing product links in posts.
You have made great progress. You have demands on your time that must take priority. There is no timeline on building your site.
Agreed, my family MUST come first. As does my self preservation-sometimes I need a break.
That being said, I tend to allow myself too much leeway at times. I guess that is one of the challenges of being your own boss-you need to be accountable.
I have been here just over three months, and also have a lot of trouble writing posts quickly.

Yes I agree. I hear a lot of talk about 3 posts/week and even 1 post/day. It just is not possible for me right now.
I plan for 1 post/week but depending on the topic sometimes the research takes much longer...like for a detailed product review.
I think we just have to keep at it and we will get there!
