My successes and hardships thus far
So I am now 5 months into my journey with Wealthy Affiliate. Though I have not yet reached the point where I can start promoting products (That's next. Exciting!), I can honestly say I have learned so much about how to build a website and make is successful! I have gone from having nothing to a site that I really feel has a lot of potential and has gotten some really good concepts.
What has been easy for me thus far? Following the trainings! Each training I have done has been so easy to follow. I love how they are broken down step by step. I never have to guess what I should do or work on next. It is all laid out in an easy to follow fashion.
The support I have received anytime I have had questions has also been out of this world! I have never had trouble figuring out something I wasn't sure how to do. Between searching for trainings, going on to live chat or posting a question...there is always a place to turn to for help. And I have never had to wait long for it either. The support I have received on this site has been just incredible.
What have I found the most difficult? Getting my site to look exactly how I want it to look. Being brand new to designing websites, it has been somewhat of a challenge to get my site looking the way I envision it. I have definitely come across some obstacles on this end of things. But thanks to all the support on WA, I have not gotten stuck here. Though it has been and continues to be a challenge for me....I know I will figure it all out eventually! It is a work in progress!
I have also found it very challenging to put in the hours I would like to working on my site. I am a full time kindergarten teacher. I work about 9 hours each day. Many times when I come home, I am dead tired already after working with my kids all day. Then there is my own life to take care of. I don't usually get to spend as much time as I'd like working on my site. But I do make it a priority to work on it each and every day...even if only for a few minutes. I would say that has been my biggest challenge so far.
What do I look forward to the most? Posting links to products and making that first sale! I am looking forward to the moment when I come from work, check my site...and see that I have made my first sale! That is going to be an exciting moment for me! I know that moment is not far away, since that is the next part of my training! I am looking forward to the moment when all these months of hard work finally starts to pay off!
