I dont know where to go from here what do i do with the website now?

I would definitely agree that starting with a dot com is much better than siterubix. It would be like starting over in a few months.

I have found the domain name doesn’t really matter too much. You add meaning the domain name through your writing and posts.

Stick to the training and follow along. I would not try to get ahead of the lessons. That can be overwhelming when you’re new.

If you follow the training and do the assignments as they come up, you’ll have s great website and will get traffic organically. I am actually in my 3rd time doing the training. It helps me focus when I create a website so I don’t miss steps.

Best of luck to you with your business!

Thank you. I am starting to get it. I was so stuck on the domain name that i got lost in what to write.

Yes, that is what you want to avoid! The content is what makes the site and will get you traffic. I have a friend that has 10K plus Twitter followers all from a website that is just her own name. In the beginning, unless the name is extremely specific, won't mean anything to anyone but you. With your content, you will give the domain meaning. Kyle says a lot a domain is like real estate. Real estate is improved over time with additions. That is what you are doing to a domain, adding additions through posts that add value to your content and domain.

Whilst you may not be wasting money using the .siterubix one, it wouldn't make sense to do so because search engines base trust on a domain level - so let's say you use a siterubix one for 3 months then move a domain, that trust will be lost and will restart when you move to a domain. You'll essentially be 3 months behind where you could have been.

For the sake of $15, just grab a domain - that's the best advice I can give you.

I see , that's eye opening. Ill have to go back to the lesson on it again. Thanks

I would carry on with the training step by step, ticking checklists bottom of lessons, tasks and activities asked of you to complete in order to set up properly and guide you through the process.

Also start building content for my niche website addressing issues in relation.

When you are passionate about your niche subject and genuinely interested in, you'd find that content flows naturally.

Writing is pretty much like explaining something to someone.

You may start with free writing whatever comes to mind, onward to a more focused writing.

You may use apps like Grammarly which helps with learning and writing, an avenue for you to consider.

You may consult with https://answersocrates.com/ - You can search what real people are asking as in Questions, Prepositions, Comparisons, in the past, letters and query. It is also great if someone wants to write a thorough research based article.

Other sources include https://Quora.com, https://Answers.com, https://AnswerThePublic.com, YouTube search engine etc.

You may research other peoples work however all content must be originally written in your own words.

That is informative. Thank you!

You're very welcome!

For you domain, you can use leandomainsearch dot com, you input a word and it gives you another

And a godaddy valuation tool to find a memorable name.

I'd also use this site
http://namecheckr.com
to check if the name is also available on social media platforms.

However nowadays domains are not so affected by SEO vs writing quality rich content with good choice of keywords, latter of which would rank you in the search engines.

I would always go for a dot com domain name vs dot net or dot org as people's perceptions when they start typing they would typically assume it is a dot com. And make sure it is spelled correctly as it cannot be edited once purchased.

I would not include dashes and check if the domain is copyrighted, trademarked and ' or registered to an established business.

However when you are ready and happy with your niche and name. Also please be aware that your desired dot com domain name may not be necessarily available at time of purchase.

Another reason is that if you made a mistake on a dot com domain, you won't be able to edit the URL, you'd have to purchase a new one.

How quick can you move your siterubix website to your domain dot come website because I bought one yesterday and on the confirmation said it might take up to 10 days for it to be approved and that's if the domain is still available at the time of approved. Also how do you check for copyright, trademark or registered with any established business. Thanks
