Hey Amazing Community, I hope y’all doing great!
Just a quick post to share with you how one Pinterest pin could greatly impact your website traffic.
I haven’t checked my Google Analytics for a couple of weeks because the last time I did, my daily traffic was sitting at 280-320. It has been like this for more than six months and so I thought I’d avoid checking it often.
But yesterday after submitting my latest post to Google Search Console for indexing, I couldn’t resist the urge to do so. To my surprise, there was a sudden spike in my traffic for August 16 as the number of daily users went up to 724, the highest so far in three years (My website is 3 years and 2 months old).
This is mainly due to a Pinterest pin I published on August 12. My average daily visitors through Pinterest are 25 but on August 16 it registered a record high of 475. This got me so excited that I wanted to share it with the community so I took a screenshot.

But before writing this blog post, I decided to check again to see if there was any significant change and sure enough, the daily users for August 17 are 1,131; that’s a 231.7% increase. And 894 of them came to my site through that same Pinterest pin, which has 362K impressions, 9.2K re-pins, and 1.2K web clicks (as of this writing).
Below are the screenshots.

This is to encourage those who are still not sure if Pinterest is worth trying. Just be consistent with your pins and re-pins. And don’t forget to use keywords because they also play a major role.
Please do share your experience with Pinterest.
Cheers!
Alice
P.S. I am hopeful that this traffic spike would result in SALES. ☺
