I've Decided to Do Something.
In The Beginning
Ten months ago I started here at WA gung-ho and ready to go. It was a blazing start, establishing a website, doing research, creating content, chatting with Wealthy Affiliate members and learning about internet marketing along with recruiting others into WA.
What a dream! This was it! It seemed I was on my way to nothing but success.
At the convincing words of my wife, I bought the yearly membership at a discount on Black Friday. I remember my wife saying to me, "Just spend the money, it's worth it. Even if you struggle with it, you'll be glad you didn't cancel it. I know you my husband."
THEN SLOWLY SOMETHING HAPPENED....
...Shortly after purchasing the yearly membership, my chatting slowed to a stop, I stopped adding content to my websites, other projects and shiny new objects began to devour my time and attention, the challenges of life began to overcome me and I basically disappeared from WA letting a fully paid premium membership waste away.
I made a few feeble attempts to reengage but failed miserably.
What Went Wrong?
I forgot my "why" ---My real motivation for becoming a marketer online and joining Wealthy Affiliate...
...FINANCIAL FREEDOM enabling me to provide abundantly for the ones I love!
I forgot the opportunity here at WA and got discouraged with doing daily tedious task and perceived slow progress. Without knowing it, I'd lost my patience with the process, wanting something quick and easy.
What I really lacked was DISCIPLINE.
SO...
...I decided to START OVER. I began the certification from Course 1 to the point where I left off, re-igniting my flame, understanding that the doing the daily tasks, being patient and focusing on WA are a must to fully embrace the opportunity here at Wealthy Affiliate.

Hey Allen,
It's been a while. But I'm glad to see you back. You're not alone. Many of us have experienced this. It just comes with the territory. But at least you were honest with yourself and took action.
Sometimes people want to blame WA instead of realizing that you control what happens with this business. And big part of that is patience to see this through. I think sometimes people think because this is internet based it should move at light speed. But like any business it takes time.
And it's easy to forget that when you have people and crap out there lying to people about making quick and easy money with whatever they're peddling at the time. So I'm happy you took a step back and have a new perspective.
