One week of learning how to start an online business from scratch

One week after joining " The Wealthy Affiliate University " I feel the urge to give my testimony about this program. I am amazed and truly grateful to have come across Wealthy Affiliate. You have to understand that I don't have a background in IT and since I became a father 5 years ago I haven't really been up to date when it comes to the latest trends and technology. The idea to start an online business has been in my mind for quite a while now but wasn't a priority and I knew that in order for me to do that I would have to catch up on the latest trends and would have to educate myself in how to start an online business from scratch. But going to school or some kind of educational institute just wasn't an option. So what do most people nowadays do when confronted with a problem ? Answer: Google.

I searched in google how to start an online career and came across a lot of sites, programs and systems. A lot of them are scams. Having some experience in sales I was able to identify and sort out potential scams pretty fast. The products and programs that are for real are not afraid to give you a free trial so you can decide for yourself if that program/product is worth the money. Wealthy Affiliate is one of them so I joined and after a week I have to say that I am astonished at what I have learned so far. In just one week I have learned the basics of how to build a website, how to start an online retail business, how to make money blogging online and a whole lot more. All the lessons, courses and training programs are well worth the money.

But what I like most about this place is the interactive community. There are a lot of members here from all walks of life but with a common interest; the online moneymaking game. Basically this online community is THE social media platform for online entrepreneurs and there is a lot of sharing of knowledge.

I am taking in all the nuggets and am going to take action and apply them. As soon as the first fruits of my labor are harvested I will share that experience as well so that others can gain from that. This is what I like the most about Wealthy Affiliate for now.

So thank you Kyle and Carson for creating this wonderful platform of internet learning and knowledge sharing. And thank you to every single member here for sharing, contributing, helping, being active and keeping Wealthy Affiliate dynamic and living.
