I can't believe it's already two weeks since I joined WA. Two days or so after I joining WA, I upgraded my membership to premium. I was flooded with congratulatory messages. It felt good being accepted. But at one time I even thought the messages are from Bots programmed to welcome new members little did I know I was dead wrong.

After that, I hit the ground running. I was learning and unlearning all about Affiliate marketing like there is no tomorrow. I learned that I need a domain name and hosting. Since I had one already, I transferred it to WA. I encountered some problems along the way during setting up the word press back office. I mailed support and even the boss Kyle, some-how the issue got resolved but I learned a lot through that. I launched my site and now am planning content creation.

Going through it all that, I decided to rest today. To quote Samual Johnson, the author of The English Dictionary ” too much vigor in the beginning of an undertaking often intercepts and prevents the steadiness and perseverance always necessary in the conduct of a complicated scheme.”

I must admit my time here is well spent. Apart from learning, I have made friends with people half-way around the world. Whom I hope to see one day. Being here I have met some amazing people and have learned that as human beings, we have far more in common than our differences. We all have the same dreams, and fears.

Although I have been a member of a lot of other groups online, I have never been part of such a big group. Close to two million members and surprisingly it feels like any small close-knit group. I love the fact that in this group people are trying to help one another. If someone had told me this before joining WA, I would probably not have believed. Or starting a blog website, or even joining a group of close 2 million people all over the world I would say no way. But yet here I am and it feels good and amazing. I have learned a lot of things here and glimpsed a better world for me full of opportunities where the sky is the limit. Although I got to know about affiliate marketing around April this year and some how found myself here at WA. Being an entrepreneur, it did not come to me as a surprise, to make it with affiliate marketing one needs to learn, work hard and be smart. This is exactly what being an entrepreneur is all about. There are indeed moments I have wondered if I would ever be good at creating engaging content because English is not my first language. But at the end of the day, all the successful people I have seen here started from somewhere. So with this insight am determined to see this through were ever it leads and how long it will take. God help me.

So in the spirit of forging ahead, let me end this by quoting Albert Einstein, ”Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance, you must keep moving”
