Interesting article about being punished by google for artificial links
http://www.smh.com.au/small-business/smallbiz-tech...
Hi Everyone,
I saw this in an Australian paper today and thought it might be of interest, particularly if anyone has been punished by google for using artificial links or for people considering these tactics or anything similar.
The article describes how one small business almost got shut down completely after google decided to punish them for links created by an SEO company they hired to help with their site. It took a concerted effort to remove the links and get back in googles good books and they outline the steps they had to take.
Wishing everyone a great weekend :)

Scary to think what can happen when black hat tactics are used. I will keep my white hat on.

Very serious matter, google should be taking steps to make offending sites remove unwanted links and do something about spam referral whilst they are at it. thank you for letting us know
