hello and welcome. The best niches to choose are those you are passionate about, you will be spending a lot of time researching and writing about the niche you choose, so you really want it to be something you enjoy.
the second piece of advise it to nit give up. Success doesn't happen over night, it takes consistency and hard work, but once you start to see some results its a snow ball effect and your off to the races :)
