SEO Keyword Spammers?

Am I doing the wrong thing with my keywords?

For a few years now, I've been running a romance novel blog titled The Steamy Reader. All I do is blog about romance novels. One of my most popular keywords includes "Steamy romance novels" and whatnot. This is all thanks to the lovely Javvy keyword research.

Recently, I've noticed I've been receiving e-mails from suspicious "Google certified professionals." Here's one e-mail from them:

"Hope you are doing well.

I noticed that you have a website and I like it. I am a Google certified professional and have more than 8 years of experience in web promotion. So I would love to contribute for your website success.

Before you consider my email like rest all standard template email. I would like to inform you on following factors that contribute most to any website ranking have been over looked.

You are already ranking for some of the keywords on Google; however majority of relevant and related keywords on which you can rank well are on back seat."

Here's another e-mail from a different "professional:"

"My experts were analyzing your website and found that your website is not handling recent updates from search engines.

Competitor analysis has always been an important criterion for any strategic layout where you can compare your strategies and accordingly prepare a road map to stay ahead of competition. We can guide you by providing the details in a form of thorough Analysis.

Google wants its visitors to have the best possible experience and these factors play an important role in determining your rank in SERP"

Am I jamming my keywords too much that I'm receiving these kinds of e-mails or it's only spammers trying to get my information?

Just making sure I'm doing the right thing. :-)

To my eyes, Alexandria, they appear to be spammers trying to get you to pay for their 'services'.

I really wouldn't even bother replying to them - just delete them and carry on with what you are doing

Thanks, DValentine!
