Setting The Right Goals With Elena Apalkova Founder Of Mindset2Results

Hi Everyone,

I hope you had a great Christmas Day, and enjoyed relaxing for a few days.

I haven't posted here for a couple of weeks, so thought I would just give an update before the end of the year.

December has been a very busy month for me, and there was a lot of activity on the property front. I completed the purchase one property that has been under legal process for several months now, so it was a great relief to get that over the line, and now be in a position to develop it for a new purpose.

I bought it for around $500k and have already increased its value by securing planning permission on it for conversion from its current use as an (empty) office into 5 1 and 2 bedroom flats.

I also progressed with the negotiation in order to secure another property that will convert from its present use as an (empty) care home into around 9 flats plus another 12 flats in the garden (subject to planning permission). There are a lot of complexities with this particular site and I have gradually built a relationship with the seller of the property over the last 27 months or so since I first saw the property and put in my first offer for it. The seller is happy to see the building converted for use by vulnerable people in the UK (termed Specialised Supported Housing).

The purpose of this article is not to tell you about the complexities of the property deal, but to inform you about how i am working with a Mindset Expert and Strategist called Elena Apalkova, who founded the company @Mindset2Results, #Mindset2Results. Elena is from Ukraine.

I first met Elena in March 2024 and I started working with her at that time and I am beginning to see some great results from this work on mindset, particularly setting the right strategic goals for my own business, and in my life.

I feel that Elena has helped me to achieve the results that I managed to achieve during the last year, and I will continue to work with Elena in order to meet my own long term strategic goals for my business during 2025 and beyond.

In terms of other objectives Elena and I have set up a charity to help Ukrainian orphaned children of which there are more than 35,000 already, and the number of children in need is growing by the day.

I saw a heartbreaking photo recently of 2 tiny babies, just a few months old who were suddenly orphaned when their parents were killed in another russian attack on Ukraine.

So in addition to my business objectives, I have set some big charitable objectives as well for the coming year 2025 and beyond. In fact, there are so many deserving causes in the world that there is no possibility to solve them all. But if we each contribute a little towards solving some of the problems we can make life better for some individuals in need of help day by day, and I will contribute what we can during 2025.

I will post here in future about our various charity projects, which will include some accommodation for orphaned children from Ukraine
